KAPPISTAHAN: RACE TO THE FUTURE MECHANICS

1. Freshman blocks will represent their respective departments.

2. Freshies, shiftees and transferees can participate in the performance. Only a maximum of 25 performers per block are allowed to perform.

3. Block handlers are allowed to help the blocks as long as the freshman, shiftees and transferees comprise the majority of the performers.

4. ALL presentations should depict the theme: RACE TO THE FUTURE: CSSP100 Years From Now

5. The presentations should not exceed 10 minutes. In the event that the performance exceeds 10 minutes, the performers will be given a 1 minute grace period to wrap up their performance. Preparations, entrances and exits are included in the 10 minute limit.

6. Performances can be song and/or dance and/or skit or any combination of the above as long as the theme of the event is followed.

7. Each department will be allowed to pick their own music. However, all music that will be used should be approved by the CSSPSC Students’ Rights and Welfare Committee on or before Tuesday, July 21, 2009.

8. All music that will be used in the performances should be futuristic in sound or theme. Departments are allowed to edit any audio or music that will be used in their performance.

9. All music and audio that will be used in the presentations should be submitted to the CSSPSC the day before the event along with any special technical arrangements that the performances may require.

10. The order of performances will be determined through drawing of lots by the Department Representatives.

11. Performances will be judged according to:
a. Creativity and resourcefulness (40%)
b. Compliance with the theme (40%)
c. Audience impact (20%)

-Slots get filled up so maiiwan ka sa slot na pangit if you dun sign up early.
-Don't ever miss your advising session or you'll lose everything you'll sign up for!

3. Updating and Signing Up
-If you weren't able to update, go to the Psych Comp Lab (2nd floor of PHAN) and look for Ate Daisy. You have to do this. This isn't optional -_-
-Signing up for a slot with your adviser this week. If you sign up for that date and time slot, it's important that you show up and that you come on time. If you miss your advising session, you won't get the classes you want for 2nd sem.

Hi guys :)

Sorry for not posting yesterday >.< I got home late na and I thought that a person I texted did this for me but apparently, his fone died. My bad rin for not checking. Sorry guys!

Anyways, this is kind of an important post. So if possible, inform everyone you know about this :)

1. ATANG: Bring P160 tomorrow.
-I got to talk to people in the play and they confirmed that a lot of Comm3 classes have their play in the afternoon of Saturday. As far as I know, it is the 3PM showing that we are taking and that ought to last until around 5pm. We'll finalize details tomorrow.
-Tickets will either
a) be brought to our classroom or
b) be bought as a class.
--> Loaf (/Renz) will be the one in charge with finalizing which option we're supposed to take right before Comm class tomorrow :) Don't worry about it na guys. Just bring money! ^^

2. COMM: Oh, the struggle.
-I know we've all been busy with this. Just to remind you guys, it's due tonight :)
-To all group leaders, please IM me at RIVENL23 and I'll give you Ms. Valerio's facebook. I'm sure she meant it when she said she'd appreciate controlled number of requests. hahaha.

1. Pick up Anthro Reading
-Same photocopy place in AS --> 1st floor, beside the gate, and near the male's restroom.
-Ask for readings by Valientes and this is the 3rd one :)

2. Prepare for Geog Presentation (on Thursday)
-Remember that the results/proceedings of the discussion must be on manila paper. I advise that only one person does this so the handwriting is uniformed and it looks much neater :P
-However, each item has a different presenter so every one must know of what your group discussed.

2.a. Here're the questions for Geog:
1. Ask each member of the group: What do you understand about "globalization"?
2. How will your group define glibalization given the different views stated earlier by each member? Provide a group definition.
3. How would you consider the value of a human geographical perspective for understanding the changing places and landscapes of the world? Provide an analysis.
4. Discuss the following:
a. Pro Stance on Globalization
b. Critics of Globalization

3. Be ready for a comm discussion! ^^

Hey guys,

I made this blog so that updating everyone on plans is easier. haha. I consulted Erika and she agreed that this'll be useful :) According to her, this can also act as sort of an avenue for everyone to give comments, reactions, and/or violent reactions. lol.
