KAPPISTAHAN: RACE TO THE FUTURE MECHANICS
1. Freshman blocks will represent their respective departments.
2. Freshies, shiftees and transferees can participate in the performance. Only a maximum of 25 performers per block are allowed to perform.
3. Block handlers are allowed to help the blocks as long as the freshman, shiftees and transferees comprise the majority of the performers.
4. ALL presentations should depict the theme: RACE TO THE FUTURE: CSSP100 Years From Now
5. The presentations should not exceed 10 minutes. In the event that the performance exceeds 10 minutes, the performers will be given a 1 minute grace period to wrap up their performance. Preparations, entrances and exits are included in the 10 minute limit.
6. Performances can be song and/or dance and/or skit or any combination of the above as long as the theme of the event is followed.
7. Each department will be allowed to pick their own music. However, all music that will be used should be approved by the CSSPSC Students’ Rights and Welfare Committee on or before Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
8. All music that will be used in the performances should be futuristic in sound or theme. Departments are allowed to edit any audio or music that will be used in their performance.
9. All music and audio that will be used in the presentations should be submitted to the CSSPSC the day before the event along with any special technical arrangements that the performances may require.
10. The order of performances will be determined through drawing of lots by the Department Representatives.
11. Performances will be judged according to:
a. Creativity and resourcefulness (40%)
b. Compliance with the theme (40%)
c. Audience impact (20%)
